Welcome to Cape & Islands Cognitive Behavioral Institute

Cape CBI offers specialized treatment for individuals struggling with OCD and related disorders; anxiety disorders including panic disorder, social anxiety, and phobias; and depression.

We provide evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), specifically Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

These structured, goal oriented approaches enable our clients to achieve maximum treatment gains in the most timely and cost effective manner. Treatment programs are customized to meet the needs of all of our adult, adolescent, and child clients as well as their family members. We provide individual, group, family, home-based, and intensive therapy.

With compassion, knowledge, and hope, we strive to deliver the highest quality of care in order to help others achieve their optimal quality of life.

Become a research participant and receive a Free Live OCD Free app!!!

Researchers at Butler Hospital and Alpert Medical School of Brown University in are seeking adults (18 or older) to participate in an online study evaluating Live OCD Free as a self-help treatment for OCD.

Each participant will receive free access to the app and be asked to complete four online surveys over 12 weeks. Participants must have access to an Apple mobile device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod).
