Exploring LGBTQIA+ Related Issues

(Gender Identity and/or Sexual Orientation)

We offer identity-affirming therapy for people who identify as LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning, intersex, asexual, and any additional orientation and/or gender identity). At Cape CBI, you will find inclusive mental health care as you explore gender identity and sexuality, and we will walk with you as you navigate your own personal expression.

LGBTQIA+ & gender issues to explore together in sessions may include:

Gender dysphoria, sexual orientation issues, mental health issues within the LGBTQ community, gender identity, coming out issues, experiences of discrimination and homophobia, bullying, and loneliness and lack of family and community support. Our work will focus on your strengths and your expertise in your own experiences.
